Sam and the crew looking after us, a full house warming up for a big Saturday night, plus a new friend of the band from North queensland; he and his mates had been to the races, lost a " ton of money", but insisted on putting a hunny on the bar for the band...a small best on the right horses?? ..... see you @horses.el next weekend??? One of the main delights of of giving is meeting salt of the earth people that become close friends, like Sean and Oonagh... they cancelled their romantic birthday dinner for Sean last night to enter this mayhem... on the condition that his happy bday song be "Going Down" by Freddie King.. perhaps strangely appropriate for these higher number birthdays, though we do insert some positive lyrics in there! The fireworks... he didn't know those were coming!
