Bring your squeeze or your lover or your friends down for some heart-warming tunes that will set your feet on fire in downtown Marrickville...where the heart beat of the Inner West Lives! LAZYBONES!

What an EPIC and synchronistic Day 2 of recording the new album @syd_green 's awesome studio.... it was Duff's birthday, playing not counting numbers! Also, we had Ronan, Drewe's son, come to last down some family groove on "Nothing Left But Light"... synchronistic, as we learned that Bob Weir had died early in the studio day.... " Live Dead" was amongst the first 10 albums I owned, and on the following years the sonics and culture that the Dead embodied changed and shaped my own music, and HDC embodies that spirit as best we can... made for an inspirational day... we laid down beds for 8 songs! .... " strangers passing strangers, just to shake their hand, everyone is playing in the Heart of Gold Band.... thaaaaaanks Bobbie!!! Keep travelling outward! New horizons being sought! ........... #blues #harpandsax #sydgreen #waywardness #waywardemotions

Stay cool, and put the 23rd off Jan in the book for the party at Swan Lake! One of the main delights of of giving is meeting salt of the earth people that become close friends, like Sean and Oonagh... they cancelled their romantic birthday dinner for Sean last night to enter this mayhem... on the condition that his happy bday song be "Going Down" by Freddie King.. perhaps strangely appropriate for these higher number birthdays, though we do insert some positive lyrics in there! The fireworks... he didn't know those were coming! Big thanks to @steverobinsondj for the licks, and a shout out to the @pyrmontbridgehotel staff, turning that bar area into a dance arena and looking after us so well!! This place is dedicated to love music so get it on your card!! Where is that crazy Irishman?
