HOW I GOT HERE:

March of '89, Paddington Sydney I was born. I resided in the inner city as I grew up. I joined a school band at the age of seven, received my first drum set at ten, adolescent rollercoaster rides and a new improved kit at thirteen. As my voice broke and my hair went curly, I slowly evolved in to the artist that I profess to be today. I'm senstitive and an Aries and require a lot of thought to get over my frustrations... But then there is catharsis. And art and music have saved me every time with such notion. For its ability to help you look in, its power to connect with the outside through sociability and esoterics. Thus, I practiced and practiced, I played and produced, auditioned and failed, tried and succeeded. To this day I am a session drummer and a music teacher. Along the way, I hitched a ride with this lot, said they were on a blues journey and needed some horsepower. I said I've got the batteries. It's a comfy backseat.

MAJOR MUSICAL INFLUENCES:
Anything with a truly catchy rhythm. If it don't groove, I won't be playing it. Although my influences are expansive, I grew up listening to grunge and alternative rock. Something loud, dirty and intense. Great for a young boy's motivation! There's always a connection to be made here and there. The world got a shake up with funk, and when I found it - and its powerful and ever important uprise to prominence - my musicality advanced significantly. To quote Bootsy Collins, "The Power of the One" has really resonated with me. And not just rhytmically. Groove's the word!

IF I COULD PLAY IN ONE OTHER BAND:
That would make one extra band I play in.
