Jono has been a member of Cass Eager's band for several years, touring nationally with them at just about every (every?) major blues festival in Australia.

Also a current and longtime member of Benji and the Saltwater Sound System. Nello met Jono playing with Big Erle, and they played together many years with Benni’s bands before the inception of HDC.

He is greatly influenced by his love of Freddie King, the Allman Brothers, and Tedeschi
